American Fanatics, we are committed to providing high-quality products and services. We understand that there may be occasions when you need to return a product. This policy outlines the terms and conditions for returns and refunds, in accordance with South African consumer protection laws.
1. General Return Conditions
- Eligibility:
- Defective products, not due to misuse by the buyer, can be returned within 5 working days, in the original packaging.
- Non-Returnable Items:
- Custom orders or special-order goods, unless defective.
- Modified and fitted parts, unless defective.
2. Return Process
- Initiating a Return: To initiate a return, please contact our customer service team within 5 working days of receiving your order.
- Return Shipping: Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee receipt of your returned item.
3. Refunds
- Processing Time: Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, the refund will be processed within 14 working days, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment.
- Deductions: Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
4. Defective or Incorrect Items
- Reporting Issues: If you receive a defective or incorrect item, please contact us immediately with details and, if possible, photographs of the issue.
- Resolution: We will arrange for the return of the defective or incorrect item at our expense and offer a replacement or full refund, as per your preference.

This policy is in accordance with the South African Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008, which provides consumers with the right to return goods under certain conditions.
